Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Prices are reasonable. I ordered a shrimp egg roll. There was 0 shrimp in it. I won't order that again. For my entre I ordered shrimp egg foo young. This dish was well flavored but the patties were small and they had very few shrimp. If I was hungry enough I would order this again but I would pay to add more shrimp because the gravy that comes with the patties is good.

Great service. Disgusting, horrible flavor, chewy, and hard Sesame Chicken. I literally could not chew it and just stopped eating.

The delivery is sometimes late but if you're home and it's no food in the house and you need quick food with Chinese taste this is the spot

Good! We ordered a large shrimp fried rice and a small general tso's chicken and the total was $15. I'm pretty sure the shrimp is deveined and in abundance in the shrimp fried rice. The fried rice however only contained beansprouts and onions. I was hoping for eggs, scallions and maybe even some peas and carrots but from what I've heard his is how most Chinese restaurants make fried rice on this side of town. The tso chicken was good and they asked me for my desired spice level when I placed the order. I asked for medium and it was weak - spice wise, but still very tasty. For my advent Chinese chicken dish eaters this is not that typical nasty bland red sauce that some Chinese places use for every chicken dish. It looks like it - the sauce is a redish- orange in color - but its not, thank goodness. The chicken breading isn't pan fried super hard, there is a little crunch but its definitely not soggy. This dish comes with a very small minuscule scoop of white rice. This rating is based on Foo Lee's being a Carry out food spot. At least they were smart enough to understand that this is place would not qualify as a 'restaurant'. Regardless it was good and I felt safe eating it! We'll be back!

I wasn't pleased!! I had a craving for bourbon chicken and this did not fill it!! The chicken was dry and didn't seem like true bourbon chicken. The chicken had a lot of fat in it. Very disappointing.

While many businesses are rumored/known to not use real chicken for their chicken entrées, these folks don't even bother finding something that tastes remotely similar sometimes. It happened with more than two entrées on two occasions. The food doesn't taste bad so if you are adventurous with your food, try it. If you would, however, like chicken when you ask for chicken, this is not at all the establishment for you. Even though it took two experiences, I will not be ordering again.

Decent food for around these parts. The delivery is a little slow so I recommend pickup but when you're hungry, it definitely satisfies.

Food still really good - very irritated that I received an email from them saying they'd received my online order only to find out an hour and a half later when I called it was never received. They gave me my iced tea for free ($3) as compensation. If I didn't have a migraine or it wasn't so cold out I'd have told them to forget it but the kiddo wanted his FooLee's so I caved.

I ordered our dinner at 5:10pm on their website. Everything seemed fine and I received a confirmation email. By 6:15 and no food, I called the place. The guy said I was probably outside their delivery range and they didn't receive my order. I said it didn't say I was out of range. He said ok, give me 30 more min. We hung up. Then I thought that if they never received my online order how do they know what to prepare?? Near 7pm the kids are starving and so am I, so I call AGAIN and different guy says it's on it's way. Suuuure. By 7:20 we give up and phone in an order to New York Sub, another Chinese carry out in Clinton (which was terrific, btw). Around 7:30 the guy finally arrives. I told him that my husband just left to get Chinese from a different place since over two hours had passed and that it was unacceptable. He said they only have two drivers and were busy. ?! Then he said their computer was down (again, he's holding the bag of food from the order I placed online which they said they didn't get. Maybe they're mind readers? Don't lie. Just don't.) I said sorry it didn't work out and he said I completely understand, and left. Maybe the food is amazing (doubtful), but unfortunately we never got a chance to find out.

Cheap chinese if you need a quick option. I had the human chicken which was pretty bland. My husband liked the General Tso's chicken. We also ordered the sesame chicken that tasted ok. I've definitely had tastier chinese food.

Decent food, considering the location. Better than other Chinese takeout joints in the area.

Ok, this Chinese carry out is so good that I had to create a Yelp for them. The main things I love here (this is my Americanized palate talking) is the fried chicken wings and shrimp lo mein. They have the best absolute wings. My family orders big party size platters for their parties, and they are always a hit. Best fried wings ever. They come with that "mumbo" sauce that everyone loves. But I like them plain with a tad of Sriracha! Mmm.... their lo mein is good. Not too greasy and I love their veggies and noodle ratio. I haven't tried too much of their other food - just the standard general tso's chicken and other standard dishes. I'm not really a fan of anything else, just these two items. But whenever I come here, the line is long. And it's well worth the wait!

Foolee's is one of maybe 2 or 3 Carryout places in the area, so your choices are limited. However, their food is delicious. This is not the place to go if you're watching your weight. Everything is moderately priced. If there is any premium, you're only paying for convenience and super-fast service. Nothing tastes old or stall. This is not an eat-in restaurant, even though their are tables and chairs, I probably would never eat in there. It is called "Carryout" for a reason.

When we moved from our old house to Southern Maryland, we had to break up with our old Carry Out. It was actually quite sad. He came over to make a delivery, saw the boxes pack, and asked...are you guys leaving? We broke the news to him...we hugged and said our goodbyes and that was it. My family orders from a carry out at least once a week...(at least). And I was nervous when we moved in the new house who would fill my void for shrimp fried rice and spring rolls delivered to my door. And then...tada, Foolee's! I have never really been disappointed, well not enough to care about. They always deliver on time, the food is hot, good, i've never got sick. They delivery gallon jugs of the crack tea/lemonade mix to my husband which keeps him quiet for a few days. The only mistake I made with this place was stopping in one day because I was in the same shopping center as the restuarant. Never go into your delivery chinese food place. It will ruin you and make you blown. Just imagaine in your head what you think it may look and add about 6 points. My favorites here are the pork fried rice, bourbon chicken and the wing dings/french fries. I actuallly ordered 10 of the later during christmas because I ddin't feel like cooking and they delivered with no probelm.

Beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I found hair in my steak n cheese!! Not just one piece, a few pieces and it was cooked into the steak!! After gagging for what seem like forever I brought the food back and complained and the manager only said to me he will refund me money. No sorry, no remorse, no nothing!! Just a refund!! It was as if its normal to find things (hair, bugs, etc etc) in there food....to make matters worse after expressing my frustration i then see the cook cough over the food he was was cooking!! he didn't cover his mouth, he didn't turn his head, nothing!! i know that accidents happen, but this is just disgusting and to see the manager show no remorse, let me know this is just how this establishment is ran. i have been going to foolies for years and in the past i have heard story's but i just couldnt come to beleive they were nasty!! well i got the proof i needed. i warned a few people as i was leaving out and they thanked me!! so this is my warning to you!! if you dont want to eat steak hair n cheese and eat the cook mucus stay away from foolies!! ps.... as i was leaving out one of there friends (a big cockroach) strolled pass me going to the back...... so who knows how many other friends the cockroach has back there!! please beware!! signed, ms. disgusted!!

I've been going to this establishment for many years. And perhaps due to experiencing substantially better Chinese food does this restaurant get such a low rating from me. Inconsistent, greasy, substandard. I might suggest the fried rice, but who's to say it would be tasty that day.

Great Chinese food! The food at Foolee's is excellent. I have tried Chinese food all over the place and they have some of the best right here. A very unassuming little place in a strip mall, but they put out some great food. Most everything here seems to be homemade and cooked to order. I normally get delivery from them, but whenever I go to pick it up I always see a small army of people working in the back, chopping, cutting, frying, and answering the phone that never seems to stop ringing with orders. They are always very quick whether it is delivery or pick-up. I have tried a lot of things on their huge menu, but my favorites are any of their Hunan dishes, their excellent shrimp toast, egg rolls, Dragon and Phoenix, Moo Goo Gai Pan, chicken liver fried rice, and Singapore Mein Fun. They also make a very tasty and unique version of buffalo wings here. The only thing I don't like here is that they use imitation crab meat in their dishes listed as having crab in them. This is fairly common among Chinese take-out places so I don't really fault them that much on that point. Those dishes are still good, but the imitation crab just doesn't do it for me, especially when I was expecting it to be real crab. The service is always exceptional here from the person who answers the phone to their delivery drivers. I have placed many orders with Foolee's over the years and they have yet to make a single mistake or show up late and everything is always delicious. I highly recommend giving Foolee's a try!
